Not impressed with the Southwest at all. The winner was a Raise A Native with a lot of Mr. P inbreeding but would have been a big leap of faith to jump on him. Equibase scored the race a 99 which is one of the worst figures in Southwest history for that figure maker.

Looking forward to see how Hidden Scroll, Game Winner, and Improbable run next month.

not sure there has been a really fast race run yet. should make for an exciting race unless that changes soon.

Agree. I'm leaning heavily toward one the one of the three most well bet futures plays for yet another eventual chalky Derby winner. They simply stand out at this point relative to anything I've seen in the 2019 point paying preps. Will see how they do in their respective 50 point preps but I suspect they will do well. My Pool 3 wager might end up being a yawn inducing exacta box of those three with the all others sprinkled in.
