I hated them when I was a kid, just a few years younger than them. Many of my friends older siblings were hippie types. But they got over it. It’s the ones who didn't that drive me crazy.

So what? the world does not have to kowtow to your standards of anything. There is NOW, always was, and always will be NO ONE WAY to do anything.

While I agree with your statements I have found that many of the homeless, hippies, etc. are making us kowtow to their standards. And if we complain we are considered subhuman.

I agree, men should not wear socks with sandals EVER. Lemon Drop Husker accuses people in the NW of doing it, but it sounds like it's a Texas thing to. You forgot to mention the wire rimmed glasses and yellow teeth.

You have to understand that I've not read this thread since page one.
So, I decide to check in to see what progress is being made and I find this discussion of sandals and socks.
Can't understand why California is in trouble.
