According to the BF database, here is JG's results since 09 (I think)
Runs Wins 2nd 3rd 4th Prize Win% Profit% £1LS
All 732 253 142 93 69 £1,354,177 35% −2% −£17.60
The results filtered with Carmouche as jockey show
Runs Wins 2nd 3rd 4th Prize Win% Profit% £1LS
All 235 109 45 23 18 £419,286 46% 20% £46.40
(Top 3=75%)
So without it is:
Runs Wins 2nd 3rd 4th Prize Win% Profit% £1LS
All 497 144 97 70 51 29%
(Top 3=63%)
Something else that could be interesting:
2009:
Runs Wins 2nd 3rd 4th Prize Win% Profit% £1LS
All 162 36 25 24 15 £263,247 22% −13% −£21.10
2010:
Runs Wins 2nd 3rd 4th Prize Win% Profit% £1LS
All 290 115 61 34 31 £573,986 40% 3% £8.10
2011:
Runs Wins 2nd 3rd 4th Prize Win% Profit% £1LS
All 280 102 56 35 23 £516,944 36% −2% −£4.60

In the case of this breakdown, it is interesting to note that Kendrick Carmouche was on this horse for every one of his starts for Guerrero until this last one where he broke down. That just solidifies my opionion on this one. If I was Alvarado or his agent you would have to hold me back. Alvarado probably wasn't in the loop or else he wouldn't have sent the horse.
And, to anyone that thinks that these jockeys should know prior to the gate:
-some are used to riding horses with problems here and there and they can't possibly tell which ones are going to be catostrophic.
-adrenalin kicks in when these horses know they are going to run and horses don't feel or care about the pain sometimes.
-good jockeys are very smart/analytical but not all of them are the most brilliant. You have to be a little off to get on a 1000 lb plus animal in tight quarters.

If Carmouche didn't go up to Mnr to ride the three stks, I'm sure Carmouche would'vd been on the horse. I have to tell you something else..I can assure you if that horse was that bad, Carmouche would've let Alvarado know ahead of time.. Jocks do look out for each other..

That is a lethal combo, Guerrero and Carmouche.

Is this Juan Carlos Guerrero guy still winning at 45%??
What I find amazing is, I was reading an article about Mark J. Reid, Sr., the all-time leading thoroughbred trainer at Philadelphia Park and Garden State Park....and this feat achieved with a lifetime win percentage of only 16%.

correction to your correction, he won the 1st, 4th, 5th, and 12th race. That's 4 winners, not 5.

that is what we call hay, oats, and water reality.
modern percentages are about as realistic as baseball players hitting 90 home runs a season.
