Opening Day Saratoga Card

PP's are out and it's a very nice card. Should be a great day of racing.

Looks like Borel, Mena, Solis will be riding at the Spa. Usually Borel is MIA unless a big race hits. Solis named on just one horse on opening day. Mena ran into trouble last year, right?

Keep an eye on apprentice Freddie Lenclud. Looked pretty good riding at Churchill in the spring. Should bring home some winners this meet.

The eighth race has quality, and looks tough to handicap.

Entry box fills up for opening day at Spa

http://www.drf.com/news/article/114946.html

Excerpt:

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - Judging by the entry box, horsemen are excited about the upcoming Saratoga meet.

A total of 127 horses were entered for Friday's 10-race opening-day card at Saratoga , which will run 40 days through Labor Day. The feature is the Grade 3, $100,000 Schuylerville Stakes for juvenile fillies, but the best race on the card may be the $75,000 James Marvin Stakes for sprinters, featuring the return to the races of Grade 1 winner Vineyard Haven.

It really is unbelievably amazing.

Best time of the year....but I guess those that aren't here are hoping for rain.

That's really too bad. It's going to be another amazing summer regardless of what uncontrollable outside events occur. Looking forward to seeing everybody....sorry for those that can't make it.

TLG have you tried the Big Red Springs water yet LOL. It's always been good luck for me as I run to it every year as I enter the track!

I haven't...But I am willing to try anything.
I've tasted it.. But never as a good luck thing....So it's a little effervescent....
