About 75 percent of the players here.

I will get burned at the stake for saying this but saratoga is a tad bit overrated. the racing is great.. on saturdays. the other 5 days are filled with mid level claimers of state breds, short turf races, 14 horse fields which is a matter of if your horse is lucky enough not to get boxed in as much as it is good handicapping. Keeneland is a much better meet all around IMHO

the 2YO baby races are what carry saratoga.

i thought yesterday's card for opening saturday was disappointing. 5 maidens,a cheap claimer etc. this will get better im sure.

Amuse me please, what is the best track to play from now till Labor Day?

Then amuse me with which tracks (hint:more than one)have fewer state breds, short turf races and are able to fill races with large fields that makes Saratoga so overrated?? I guess at this time of the year you enjoy playing??

if you are a bettor, the best race track is the one that you win money at.

if you are talking about a high level of competition and the greatest race meet year after year, SARATOGA is your track.

there is a guy here that had 5 double digits winners yesterday at the spa, he made it look like ice cream. i have never had a day in my life where i had more than 2 winners in the spa. when i used to stay at saratoga for the whole meet, i remember plenty of days that i never made a bet there.

Saratoga is not my "cup of tea".

"The Graveyard of Champions" is not accurate enough, as far as I am concerned; they should call it "the bettor's graveyard".

i am not a "sit down and play a track" guy, i cherry pick races from different tracks. today i am playing more woodbine than anything else, followed by del mar later today. though i did hit the first today at saratoga

i'm talking about the people who just swear up and down that if you want to watch a good race in the summer the only place to do it is at "the suna"

SAR is a very difficult meet, and requires spreading deep to hit the exotics most of the time.

Usually 4 or 5 angles in every race, and you have to figure out which one will produce.

Plus, you'd better have a good eye for track bias, or you have no shot.

5 winners gets you back , what? for a $20 investment, not as much as you think.

11.80, 11.40, 16.80, 7.50, 9.10

You need that for the days you go 1 for 10.

Saratoga is a gold mind for the DD, yes one can make money if you hit to long shots back to back, so far I am doing Ok.

I love the dollar DD, one can spread with out going broke.
