Red Board Police
Red board police.
Oh s - - t, this will bring a scolding from the Red Boarding Police. I just caught a $120.20 win price, off the tote board (fourth at Charlestown).
And, as I always do, I will include my tote board angle: <ML at approx 10 MTP and >ML at OFF. $2.00 to win.

What is your long term success rate with this kind of play, if I may ask?

I hit #1 Da Marshal in the last race at SAX today. Looked like a chaos race to me because the pop and stop horse Deleon had in was probably going to throw the pace scenario all out of whack. The 1 had run big at a price before and was adding blinkers. $144.50 to win and $40.50 to place. Sometimes you get lucky.

Basing anything on the morning line at CT seems pretty silly, but it did produce a $100+ winner.

I'll just go with "there are many ways to get there as long as you get there". Nice hit.

Thanks JR, I'm just glad PA didn't ask me about my longterm success rate.

Huh? I was being genuine. I've discussed toteboard handicapping with Tape Reader in the past and have a toteboard program of my own that monitors the pools, so I was genuinely curious as to the success rate in terms of ROI...
Tape Reader revealed the specifics of his play publicly, I don't know why it would be out of bounds to ask how this angle has performed long term...

I wasn't questioning your motives, I was joking about my own prowress or lack thereof.

I wonder...if this is indeed a profitable angle, wouldn't it warrant a bet larger than $2?

This is not a long term profitable angle using what he posted alone.

My inadequate software saves the data in a text file, which is useless for ROI research. As I've told you in the past, this angle is visually promising. I have had some big scores with it at Saratoga. I only play occasionally on line.
