shanghai bobby
I think bobby at 15 to 1 is a great price for the future derby pool.If he wins the holy bull hes 5 to1 instead he loses to a horset that breaks a track record.Bet him before the flordia derby, because when he wins say bye bye to 15 to 1.

Are you talking about getting in some Vegas action? 'Cause the "pools" are closed.

Shanghai Bobby should do his best running as a sprinter/miler, assuming he's given the chance.

Good eye brother.Overt attention and total spiritlessness=Uncle Mo might be an overestimation.I've held the tongue for whatever reasons but the more it's brought to my attention, this horse has no heart. If they let him just "Beast" for his races to see what they have it might be different.I don't think so at bottom though.

Could it be he was just an early bloomer? Lots of horses are superstars at 2 and then disappear at 3.

He is officially off the Triple Crown trail. Will rest and comeback for a late summer/early fall campaign. Look forward to his return!

Shanghai Bobby was a much better horse than Uncle Mo. Mo was just flashy; Bobby ran some legitmately good races at 2 (see the Track Barron and BC Juvenile) and didn't run too badly in the Holy Bull either.

Uncle Mo was just as good as a 2 year old and his 3 year old campaign wasn't what it was suppose to be but still solid. 2nd in the Kings Bishop then beat older horses in the Kelso.

What is Bobby going to "rest" from?
He hasn't done anything!

Which is exactly why he shouldn't be afforded the Derby gate. They would take that luxury if they were allowed.

Agree.
I'm not sure what the "rest" is about either. Why not try him in the Derby trial or something like that?
