What a difference a day makes.
To give Ford the benefit of the doubt, it is possible that since she doesn't like to fly in airplanes, she may have needed the extra day to make the flight on her broom stick.

He is very qualified according to many of his law acquaintances, including a liberal female litigator with many appearances befor the DC Appelate Court as well as SCOTUS.

Maybe he isn't conservative enough.....might agree with you on that. He is a big believer in stare decisis.

Why? Grassley is one of the most solid conservatives in the Senate, and one of the most experienced. He knows that the "he said, she said" aspect of this is a political hot potato, and is bending over backwards to show no prejudice against what "she said".
