Agree....on Trainer but not regression analysis

Trainer Moves is one part of the game where you don't need numbers , odds, or even reading the form....
If the horse is in the right type race and a competent jockey aboard...your on the way to the windows...

Which ones?
The ones you cash at or the ones you jump out of?

Not necessarily! The betting population is comprised of more than just handicappers!

I find that following the money flow during a typical betting cycle can be very rewarding. And I mean not just the odds (the Win pool). There’s plenty of action in the other accessible pools as well.

I use to really enjoy capping with just a pen and paper. I'd print out pps in condensed form and read them on the train. These days... I'm pretty much a mix of 30% pen and 70% computer.

My new thing is listening to David Aragona and CJ on their podcast.... Then, comparing what they say to how I view the races.

I love how nitro says this over and over as if he's the only one in the world that knows this

Folks have been watching the exacta's and doubles for 50 years.

Give it a rest friend.

Apparently you have major difficulty distinguishing between “watching” and analyzing. I for one would like to see anyone trying to analyze the betting money flow without a personal computer and direct access to the tote board through the internet. As far as I know, (other than the tote board) none of these things even existed 50 years ago.

You always seem to attempt undermining people’s comments. Actually your responses make you look pretty foolish. You’re obviously a perpetual looser with nothing but negativity to influence your remarks.

BTW as far as I'm concerned, you'll never have the persuasion around here to tell anyone what to do.

nitro being a young man, never heard of the 'chartists' who , pad in hand wrote down the exacta/dd probables each flash looking for the same 'money flow' that nitro seems to think he and his guru invented

50 years old idea. at least.

Use PDFs and timeformus online while using excel to keep records. Utilize computer a lot for replays and charts.

if you were at Mahoning Monday, you would see the tractor grates going deeper on the outside of the track when they harrowed the place giving the inside a major advantage. you can't handicap this with a racing for or speed numbers. the inside of the track made the inside horses 3-5 lengths better than they were on paper.

You can tell something like that after 1 or 2 races at the most . Don't really need to be there

But you might catch the early DD, if you're lucky

Close the poll but keep Thread open

Doubt there's anything new to say here...but just in case someone has a flash of brilliance, then share it.
