I was up there for 3.5 weeks.

If you ask me where the time went, I have no answer.

Agreed. I was too busy with a little thing called "my career" this year to make the trip. Very upsetting. I've missed a few years here and there but this year really hurt. I'm burnt out and really needed the trip to recharge the batteries. Next year, I'm taking two weeks vacation around Toga.

NYRA finally released prices for Festival Tent seating and all I can say is wow. $65 per table during the week and $85 on the weekend. It does say you get admission and a program with that so the during the week prices haven't gone up too much more than the cost of 6 admissions since I did this two years ago when I think it was $30 a table, no admission, which was $3 then. Also means groups have to figure out how to get admission tickets to people coming beforehand. The fan experience has been enhanced to be sure....

If you don't get them to people in advance, the person with the tickets would have to get to the track, first, then hand the tickets to people through the fence.

My schedule may put me up in NY in the middle of August. Typically that same week of the 'Toga Party.....I have not been able to attend the past ones.
Hopefully there is one organized this year.

I am looking at either the first or second full week of August..MY preference is to be there for the Whitney. Always a good day.
But then again, just about any day at The Spa is a good day

If you go Travers Day, you wanna bet with a phone/internet account, unless you want to spend the whole day standing on ticket window lines behind people who don't know what they're doing.

With 40k or so on property on Whitney Day last year I hung out near the Jim Dandy Bar and used the machines adjacent to the path the horses take to the track....Yes, I'm giving away my secrets.....But, we're all friends here.
Oh, I have experienced issues with internet access on my phone on busy days there. Lots of internet traffic.

Maybe we should change the thread title to "2015" or maybe start a new thread? I was hoping to make it up there this year, but the wife isn't in a traveling mood, and I can't leave her alone for a "road trip."
