How else are you going to get the instant gratification of eliminating racism in America? There is no other way.
Other ways take time...the older generations who grew up being taught that a different skin color, different religion, different sexual orientation is inherently evil...it takes time for them to die off...it takes time for generations of racists to be eliminated and new generations to teach their kids that you don't judge people by the color of their skin.
We've made giant strides as a country compared to where we were 50-100 years ago. Hell, women are still being stoned to death in other parts of the world for committing adultery.
So what is your solution? People want this fixed AND FIXED NOW.

So no cops were shot or killed by people of color in the past week? Or do facts not fit your agenda?
I heard on local (NPR, KERA FM) radio that 86 cops were killed on duty in a single year. Not sure if the stats were last year or before. Why is that a non issue? Seems to me there's a hatred and acted out violence towards cops that is greater than the other way around

Never, ever going to resolved. Prejudice will always be. It's ingrained in the us humans from the beginning of time. You can pass laws, but nothing will end it. A fact of life.
I've been hearing "it's gotta change" since I was 5 years old, I'm 74 now.

Put a Little love in Your heart, dawning of the Age of Aquarius, love and Brotherhood, Everybody Get Together. All made pretty songs, but that's it. Those songs were from 50 years ago! The only thing that has changed since then ...is music!
