Fri. 1/13/12 (1st nite of winte survival)
3rd Race........#6, TAMAYO, Big Backclasser had a very well meant qualifier, and faces horses she can easily beat if really ready....And Burke has them ready to go at once, many times....
6th Race.........#6, SOUTHWIND SWALLOW, had a nice suckalong trip around the track vs. much better last week, than here...Has good early and late pace numbers that put this girl right in the thick of it.......A real factor
4th Race..........#4, CAMERON CHIP, fitz very well with these, and in her first start back from last July, she closed like a rocket to get second, in the fastest last 3/4's of any of these 1;24;3....A fast close in the fastest time may be just the ticket tonite with the predicted high winds.....Post relief helps this one as well...She's another that can run with better when right....
*** Chalks tho....I want to survive...

how about the way this survival kicked off with Sears being flung off his bike? he hangs onto the reins only to get dragged for a bit, manages to get his elbows on the seat and hangs on for dear life for ~1/8 mile....imo he did an excellent job
i got by with save my shark so im alive til tomorrow but i wouldnt cry if cameron chip wins the 8th

He certainly was hanging onto those lines, for dear life....Brave effort from Sears...Another may not have had the cajones or strength to hang on and would probably have let go at some point....Hey the guy is a consumate pro of the highest caliber in his chosen profession....I was impressed...
best,
