Getting a bunch of conflicting signals at the moment, so just going to lay low and do nothing.
It's not acting like a market that just broke through and closed above 4400 and wants to go higher...and the stars aren't aligned very well for a short...so....doing nothing is a viable option

The thought just hit me that this whole Ukraine mess is going to lead to an OBVIOUS giant market crash...or will justify a giant market crash we all felt was coming eventually...if that's the case, there will be plenty of time to get in on some juicy shorts...but right now doesn't seem like the right time
The market seems to have lost 4400 at this point...

The S&P has dropped 50 points in less than an hour after closing above 4400.
It's pretty obvious at this point 4400 is going to hold as resistance.
I think interest rates are going to lose the focus of attention and everything is going to start turning to how all these sanctions on Russia and the energy crisis that results is going to negatively impact everything. You're starting to see that in the headlines on CNBC right now.
If I miss out on a giant move down right now, so be it.
My plan is to wait for a pullback at some point and go short when I see a better setup on my chart.
For all I know, the move from 4418.75 down to 4364.75 is a giant head-fake...LOL

This has officially become a big-ass move down..almost 69 points straight down since around 9:45 am....as we enter the European markets-close portion of our program.

My automated system just took a short, so I'll post that here:
SHORT ES @ 4350.50 STOP @ 4395.50
yeah, it's a giant stop

Got stopped out...lol
Went to 4395.75 and turned right around...funny how that works.

I think the NASDEQ is keeping a damper on the market
its more sensitive to interest rates that we still don't know whats happening...

it's amazing how the stop I had on today's trade is acting as the resistance level of the past few hours...two ticks more and I'd still be in this trade
