It's so weird after I post trades in this forum, a few hours later it says 200+ people are viewing this forum.

Yes, I know...bots and all...but still...that doesn't happen except for off-topic, and most noticeably, this trading sub-forum.

So freakin' weird.

Check out the attached...it's kinda insane....

After thinking about it more, I should have never covered the short until end of day. One of these days, I'm going to stop getting head-faked in my discretionary trades. The stuff I'm posting here can't be automated easily (by me, anyway), so it's way more susceptible to my emotional failings as a trader.

Today that cost me about 12pts in profit.

If you shorted every day so far this year I wonder how many winning days you’d have. Seems like a lot

I don't see anything meaningful setting up tonight...I think the markets will take a breather until the morning, when the ADP number comes out and Powell testifies before Congress.

The Powell testimony of course, will be the most likely of the two to move markets noticeably in either direction.

Market thinks the Fed will chicken out on raising rates.

Market is probably right.

I'm still in the camp of the economy is weaker than most think and once the wheels start coming off economy wise, Rates, Fed, Russia, Oil don't even matter anymore.

I wonder how those bond funds are doing now? You know the ones that were tanking when everyone was saying we would get 9 rate hikes this year? The one I've been piling into is up 9% in 5 days

It's looking to me as if 4400 is going to be some serious resistance on the ES tonight...although I don't think the time is right for a short. Also looks like a double top right around the 4400 mark as well, adding to the resistive nature of that number.

4400 is the new line in the sand.

Long term trend is still down, obviously, so I will be looking for a short. Unemployment claims, ISM PMI and more Fed Powell testimony on top for tomorrow morning...

I'm really hoping for an obvious short setup at some point while I am conscious...lol

Hoping to get a close higher than yesterday.....
