He hasn't been charged.....innocent until proven guilty in this country is what I still believe in...let him ride...hopefully to the wire even if for a show placing...

I generally agree with this principal but there are two factors that are important distinctions between racing and say a normal job, the welfare of other participants, and protecting the betting public.

If this was a first offence I could see it but given so many chances the side of caution seems to be more prudent.

Off the top of my head, he's been suspended for making racist comments, domestic abuse, alcohol problems, and not riding out his mounts. But yeah, let's keep bringing him back.

I guess it’s like the now-in-question HISA whip rule: 6 strikes and you’re out, 10 strikes and you’re really, really out.

Again

How many chances can he get—-he should be given a suspension for life-one of the many reasons why our sport has a black eye-a real disgrace

noticed a couple mounts Friday, but I didn't assess his performance.

Rooting for him

everyone deserves a 2nd chance or a 13?th chance...

Biased, - childhood memories as an 8yo at Pimlico when he won apprentice. One of, if not the first jockey who I was aware of.

It's like Ty Cobb- a transcendent talent who has enormous personal issues and does a lot of bad stuff.

But then he can deliver rides like this:

I planned my whole Preakness trip that year around betting Exaggerator and it worked out great.

I could still do without Kent at this point.

Rooting for him to get his life together is one thing, putting him on horses is something else.

I also just cashed a huge bet (at 1-5) when you replied with something about the track condition.
