Since he'll be out of office, I couldn't really give two shits either way.

With a gun to my head, I couldn't even tell you.

On the one hand, you have the nutbags who won't be happy until he's actually dead...forget about jail.

On the other hand, interest is quickly lost on a person without real power.

Some AG out there somewhere will probably go for something to make a name for themselves...

Oh I disagree about the interest factor.

He really is GOP Obama...

I dont understand it, think its a poor reflection on my former party, but he is.

He's going to have long coattails... plus he's a scam artist and his base is the perfect long term grift. He'll lose some but retain more than enough to remain relevant.

I'm 95% certain he'll be charged though.

So all that money and time and obsession searching through every crack and crevice of Trump's lower intestine...and coming up EMPTY each and every time (minus a bogus House Impeachment)...

But when he leaves office, THAT'S WHEN THEY'LL FINALLY GET HIM?

Something tells me I've seen this song and dance before on here...

Which is why some of us scratch our heads when Clinton and Obama's name seems to be brought up here almost daily.

Trump, Clinton, Obama.......jetstream now.

Of course if SDNY or AGNY goes after him, (when whatever things prevent a sitting POTUS from certain liabilities), that will bring some renewed interest. Trump does enjoy being in the news. So maybe we haven't heard the last of him. Who knows.

I wonder who the Lincoln Project type Republicans are going to set up for 2022? That will be an interesting topic.

Closer than a snowball's chance in hell, we are going to have lots of posts between now and midterms.

Its fairly obvious he has a lot of legal problems. I don't think you'll deny it.

He should have been removed from office for Ukraine... I don't think for a second if the shoes were on the other foot you wouldn't be calling for it.

The fact he wasn't circles back to why he will remain relevant... his base adores him and he can't fail only be failed.

Trump wasn't removed not because he did nothing wrong but because his supporters refuse to abandon him.

We aren't allowed back in.

We're irrelevant for the time being... that will take a cycle or two to change and where we end up is pretty open.

Not a big deal though... pretty liberating honestly.

I admit, I am somewhat *curious* about the loan paybacks to Deutche Bank.

I hope he plans on selling lots of Trump merchandise, and having lots of rallies.

Do you think he will stiff them like he did contractors, etc.?

Other than Ivanka hawking clothing & shoes made in off-shore sweatshops again (which won't work because all the big stores cancelled her), I am just curious what the next family grift will be to come up with that loan repayment.

Maybe Kimberly G. can get voice-over work on a movie set, howling at the moon or something.

Provided he isn't tied up in criminal charges he'll continue to hold rallies, speak, and grift off of his supporters.

Like I said earlier he's basically GOP Obama politically... the donors hate his guts but the bread and butter GOP primary voter loves him!

Charges seem pretty likely though and I don't see how a judge doesn't gag order him so we'll see.

a) Lincoln Project = scam. They will probably be indicted before Trump

b) believe you me...if they found ANYTHING worthy of indicting/arresting/executing Trump during the 4 years of non-stop investigations, YOU WOULD HAVE HEARD ABOUT IT. So whatever this MYTHICAL stuff is, it's going to have to be brand new. I guarantee you SDNY/AGNY isn't going after Trump on anything "revealed" to date...we can revisit when/if I am proven wrong

c)Clinton & Obama...drawing that equivalence is laughable

And that's why Republicans continue to win despite you thinking Trump has decimated the party.

Your opinion is far removed from reality.

I don't see the GOP winning nearly as much as you do.

I see a party very out of touch with the majority of the electorate. -3, -7, and -5 the past 3 cycles. 1 PV victory in 32 years...

Gerrymandering is the only thing keeping it close.

It has to undergo realignment.

Trump will be president or running for president, so it would be 'political' to try and charge him with anything. If they stuck him in a jail, would he still need the secret service to protect him?

Biden wants to 'unite' the country, which is a joke because we will not even be able to unite the democrat party.

We do not know the full extent of who and what he is in debt for 400+million. The messy involvement of the Tump organization in fraud galore and Stormy, and I bet lots of issues we won't find out until after he leaves office. He, however knows where all the skeletons are buried.

My guess he ski-datles off someplace with a lax extradition treaty with the U.S
Istanbul, where he owns property, or Moscow, where he is "owned"

Erdoğan or Vlad will allow him to launch an international media network.
With only minor worries about facing the music back home.
