Baffert's cheating could amount to tens of millions of dollars of what's essentially fraud, not only in stakes winnings, but in the breeding shed.
I mentioned the breeding!

This is something that often happens, a trainer is riding high and his horses are running suspiciously fast, then he gets a stiff fine and/or suspension and when he comes back, his horses run more like regular racehorses.

This is why the CHRB is complicit in whatever crimes Baffert's committed because they swept things under the rug and basically let him get away with it all of these years. And now the sport has this black eye.
Jeff Mullins is another example of this. Pre-punishment, he had periods where he was at 30%. Afterwards, he's back to earth.

Just remember one thing during that period. Many other guys were doing the same thing but they were friends of Rick Arthur. He selectively went after a couple guys and looked the other way on many others. Ca was rigged then and is still rigged to favor the connected

https://www.cameo.com/bobbaffert?qid=1624479032

There is this site I was looking at today called Cameo and it is a website where you pay celebrities athletes you name it to give you a personalized message for a fee whether it is $50 or $1500

When I searched up horse racing on there I found:

Victor Espinoza ($400)
Larry Collmus ($50)
Doug O'Neill ($140)
and Bob Baffert (NA price)

I think we should ask Bob to send a personalized message to us

I just thought it was funny that he was on there

I mean it would be cool to get Larry Collmus to do some announcing type thing for a birthday or party but I saw the sample that Bob Baffert did for someone's birthday and he said "Happy birthday to so and so! I heard you were a owner of Authentic" and he went on about being a owner and his horses rather than wishing someone a happy birthday

I'm not sure sending some of these star Baffert horses to Pletcher is exactly what I had in mind.

Pletcher rises to the occasion when needed, but his entrants generally run more to their PPs than maybe 10% of the other owner/trainer operations.

Life is Good went to Pletcher, and now Charlatan has been conveniently-retired.

He doesn't exactly have as pristine a history with drug overages as a couple of other top trainers often mentioned here as the gold standard of clean. Some people have also questioned some of the performances in Florida and other events.
