Musket Man...

http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-raci...n-for-the-year

This is a bummer, he's out for the rest of this year...a bone bruise in a foot...the good news is he'll be back next year for a 4 year old campaign...aiming for the BC on DIRT at Churchill....
What I'm thinkin' is with all the injuries this year, and the BC on SA's Pro Ride...maybe we'll see several of our 3 yr old colts come back next year...goodness knows, most of them sure don't have good enough resumes this year to get booked solid at the breeding shed...kinda gives me hope for next year's handicap division.

Tough break for the local crew...The way the race is setting now, had a huge shot to win it to...

Haskell will miss him running, maybe Rachel Alexandra will run in Haskell now instead of the Delaware race or CCAO at Belmont.

I am holding out hope that an announcement will be made soon...Rachel Alexandra to the Haskell.

That would be great, and the race fits her like a glove...

We will know soon...
