Maybe these “variants” aren’t variants at all but instead are waves of “made in China” viruses.

The CDC didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment. Understand what the CDC said here: They essentially said, they're not interested in science that did not originate with them! They have a policy that censors out science by other sources. It appears the CDC believes that they are God's gift to science and if someone else's science doesn't agree with theirs, they're not interested in looking at it. (Note the paragraph in this piece about the CDC-based Kentucky study.)
