Holder plays the slave card.....
while pandering to the NAACP. Surprise, surprise...
Attorney General Eric Holder on Tuesday compared the new Texas voter ID law to the post-slavery efforts to keep blacks from voting known as a “poll taxes.”
The law was passed last year by the GOP-led state legislature, then signed by Gov. Rick Perry, in an effort to curb voter fraud.
In a speech at the annual NAACP conference, in Houston, Holder said many voters would have to travel “great distances” to get a government-issued photo ID and that some would “struggle” to pay for the requisite paperwork.

Photo ID's are racist. If they're either in black and white or in color, the terms B&W or color are racist and discriminatory. So, no photos.

Texas counties are quite small by comparison to other states further west. I believe the original concept was that no county resident should live more than a day's ride from the county seat. I don't know if that was by forseback or Escalade.

So Holder says Blacks and Hispanics are not as capable as white people?
Any they applaud him?
Why, getting a photo ID is so simple, I would have thought NAACP people cold handle it. I would be offended by his put down, and the fact that his boss, Obozo, did not want to bee seen associating with those NAAPC folks, so he sent his flunky. tsk tsk tsk.

You mean someone is stupid enough to give away money without any proof of who is getting it?
I guess I gave our government far too much credit for not being total morons.
They are total morons.

In Illinois, the forms are all online and you can request paper applications. They will need a SS# for everyone receiving/applying for the benefits. Then a rep will give the person/family applying a phone interview to go over the process and tell them if they are approved or denied. But no Photo ID is necessary at all. I know Tom will like this---there is an entire section to fill out if any of the people that the person/family is claiming for the benefits are "non-citizens."

So in other words, there is no control at all.

And people like Actor, evidently, believe that no I.D. at all is needed to get on welfare. And they applaud that! They think that's a great policy! They don't see anything wrong with that setup. To such, it's not government that is broken; it's people like us, with common sense, that are wrong with the county.
And then we wonder how Obama got elected...

Either he is in contempt or Congress is contemptible.
I'm thinking it might be a tossup.

either voting means something or it doesn't, and if you can't verify who is voting then it doesn't.
Instead of whining about racism why doesn't Holder campaign to have all of his "people" get off their asses and get an ID? it's not hard, what is the problem? they get ID's, we know who is voting, problem solved.
why does this have to be so complicated?
(rhetorical question)
