Keeneland free digital programs
Keeneland has announced it will offer free digital race-day programs for download for its Spring Meet, which begins Friday.
THIS IS INSANE. The meet is popular and based on what people here think, Keeneland should never give a fan anything for free and should raise entrance fees as well. The meet is so popular there is no need to give the fans anything for free and should raise prices even more!
If you don't think raising prices for the fans is the right thing to do, you should learn(?)from all the people here that were in favor of Saratoga raising its' entrance fees(check out the thread). Screw the fans anyway possible! It's the best way to save a dying sport!
Can you believe what these morons think “We as an industry have a collective responsibility to create lifelong fans of the sport,” Keeneland President and CEO Shannon Arvin said.

But wouldn't offering something free let's say the past performances from Keeneland draw more attention, therefore, bringing in more people to the track? That is how I look at it
It is just simple marketing by a great racetrack that is only going to continue to be great with the sales and racing
Personally, I'm actually glad that they are offering this as my dad who is diagnosed with PD I told him about Keeneland this Friday and he said "It would be nice if they had their own programs on their page" as he can't walk/talk too good so horse racing is his safe haven and he always loves watching all the different tracks especially if I can give him winners while watching lol
Well, Dad now they do have free programs at Keeneland

I would point out that Molson is being a clueless ass who is equating a free program download with a change in admission price, or that CheckMark missed his sarcasm, but then we'll get 10 more Molson being an ass posts and 10 more CheckMark passive-aggressive apology posts, and no one has time for that.

In the time it took you to write this you could have literally downloaded free programs from probably most if not all tracks running on any given day.

And what does this have to do with Keeneland and their free programs?
And not sure why bringing in my so-called “passive aggressive apology posts” have to do with their either.

Keeneland is hoping on-track fans download the digital program and subsequently place a bet. Most of their patrons don’t bother with buying the regular program, it cuts into their beer money.

Lord, free data and PPs anywhere should be celebrated. NYRA has done a great job offering it for their programs and the CC pick 5 and I’m happy Keeneland is doing it as well.

But it is the "official" program from Keeneland so it's more special
