Yea probably thinking about how the Turf situation is too with Churchill in the next few months

Churchill doesn't run in August. It always made sense to move them to Colonial if they were going to continue to run them. I'm not even sure they had bought Colonial yet when they decided to run them last year.

The Million is a great race. I hope they continue to run it.

Hopefully they also restore these races to their proper distances.

The legacy and importance of those races left when CDI closed Arlington Park. Those races will only serve as a reminder to a great track lost.

The success of Chad Brown in these races has made me less interested in them, I don't know why.

The Beverly D and Secretariat were great races when run at the correct distance with the proper purses. The Million was a great race......3 decades ago

Another thing to consider is Lasix is allowed in all Stake races in Virginia.
