Gulfstream Surface Changes - Wow

my guess would be that Gulfstream would try again to get a 3 month meet in Palm Meadows during the summer.. no one likes to ship their horses from Palm Meadows to Gulfstream in the heat on the day of the race back and forth anyway, and the place is a great facility.

There is a lot of room to build a grandstand or install some seating
if they ever did get some racing there...

I have heard from someone in the biz- not a deep insider but knows his way around- that Palm Meadows wouldn't get racing because it is in the Rooney's territory of Palm Beach County (Palm Beach Kennel) and they'd never allow it. I have no idea if this is a valid assertion. Also don't know that, if true, if this would preclude purely studio racing.
