S.S. Stone Has A Fracture

http://www.drf.com/news/s-s-stone-sk...d-leg-fracture

Excerpt:

S. S. Stone, who rose from the claiming ranks this winter to capture Sundays Grade 3 Skip Away at Gulfstream Park, will be sidelined indefinitely after exiting the race with a small fracture in his left cannon bone, trainer Nick Zito reported on Wednesday.

He came out of the race with a small line on his cannon bone, said Zito. Its nothing serious. We already did the surgery and hell be out a few months. Hes going to stay with me here at Palm Meadows and then probably move on to Saratoga when we leave here at the end of the month. Im very partial to him for several reasons, since hes owned by Mr. LaPenta was bred by Mary Lou Whitney and is a son of Birdstone.

Well that sucks ...good that they found it before it got worse...me thinks he's a really nice one, so I hope we see him later this year.
