Belmont ( and then Saratoga ) Live
Starting next Wednesday 5/18, and going through the first week of October, we will be offering 2 hours of live coverage ( 2 1/2 in Saratoga ) every racing day on the MSG+ Network from 4pm to 6pm. If you don't get MSG+, it will also be available on the NYRA HD app. On-air duties will be handled by Maggie Wolfendale, Richard Migliore, Jason Blewitt, and myself.
I hope people get a chance to watch. Feel free to offer any constructive criticisms.

getting into full gear? does this mean new york wil have large fields? anyway, i'm not holding my breath, from the scratch shenanagins i have seen lately, that the betting public has had to put up with. (sorry for the sour note. my constructive criticism would be, to be frank with the public bettors and not put on airs that john q public has the discretionary income to wager in the verticle pick 4-5-6, with a fighting chance of hit collecting such a windfall.

Just in case any of you recently arrived from another planet ...
Nobody does live coverage better than the NYRA.
From the picture quality to the quality of the handicappers, paddock inspectors and warmup analysts, nobody else is even close.

They really have gotten the presentation as close to perfect as I suspect that it can get. Everyone seems like the right person for the job and their insight manages to draw you into the expensive high-tech visual and can get even me to stop treating it as background static until they load. If Andy and whoever can't get you to open the form and look at the race, then you probably are watching with someone who actually does bet. Maggie and Mig turn 15 minutes of 'down time' that could probably be dead air and a tote matrix at most tracks as an ideal into something akin to the way Pawn Stars can make you suddenly interested in the expert opinion of the complete edition of Garbage Pail Kids. It's paced just right and it's slick in a covert way. I more or less only casually follow NYRA these days but when I have had the feed on all day lately, it really has impressed me just what a top-notch overall presentation from start to finish and at near all points between their signal is.

No question. Maybe Keeneland is up there but NYRA is the best. Picture is unbelievable and excellent commentators. I stay home more now for simulcasts solely because I can hear the NYRA feed and see it in beautiful HD.

Great news TLG. Your teams efforts have successfully moved my summer and fall wagering to NYRA only. You guys do a great job.
