Do you know anything about James Comey, the head of the FBI? The GWB White House despised him for refusing to sign off on certain aspects of the NSA program (he was acting AG -Ashcroft was in hospital). He has an excellent reputation on both sides of the aisle, and he seems to think this is a serious matter. But I'm sure you know better.
