Maybe the Germans can laugh themselves warm this winter...like they laughed at Trump at the UN when he told them to cut their reliance on Russian energy.
Then again, Trump was a Putin puppet so why would he do something like that? Must not have happened...fake news bro.

Okay have at it then.

no, because of catastrophic climate disruption a majority of North America will discover how expensive it is when it gets cold. The sun is not strong enough to get through snow covered solar panels and the wind is not fast enough to cover the heating needs of the wind chill.

Nah, it's because they laughed at genius boy Trump instead of heeding his warning on their foolish Russian ways.

On the same day that the pipeline from Russia to Europe was blown up, a new pipeline was just opened from Norway to Europe.

The Nordstream 2 pipeline allows Russia to send gas to Western Europe without paying transit fees to Ukraine and Poland. Russia just completed it in the teeth of massive opposition from Ukraine, Poland and USA. Now they are trying to convince you it was Russia who blew it up

Are you still so blinded to insist Russians blew up an asset that could generate a ton of cash for Putin and be used as leverage against the west in the war when it gets colder even though Biden is on record saying we would get rid of it and it was just blown up?
Stop being naive. You can hate Putin and everything he stands for and still understand why we are really at war.
The goal is surround Putin with NATO forces, keep economic pressure on him, and overthrow him. He is responding like any rational person would. He's trying to put a buffer between himself/Russian border and his military adversary and trying to improve relations with Communist China to put pressure back on us.
Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries on earth.
It would not shock me if we do have bio weapons in Ukraine.
Ukraine and the democrats almost certainly have corrupt business dealings.
In fact, it would not shock me if a portion of the 10s of billions we are sending there for the war effort are making its way back to the US in corrupt ways to fund and enrich certain democrats and help their election efforts.

The list is endless.
It's obvious Putin sees and knows what his future is if he doesn't build a military buffer and create better economic ties with China, Iran, and any other countries that are also adversaries of the US. His future is the loss of power and death.
Again, you can hate Putin and everything he stands for and still understand why we are really at war.

I see we've entered the shotgun phase of the discussion where we throw everything we can at a wall hoping it sticks.

There is only one likely culprit.
Nordstream 2 isn't even online yet and Germany has managed to survive the past couple of years.
There is enough capacity already through existing Eastern European pipelines to keep Europe warm...
NordStream 1 and 2 were about not having to pay transit fees through those countries.
Russia maximizes economic pain hitting the pipelines.
Edit) They are losing this war and are trying to play any bit of leverage they have.
