Advice Request: Attending Gulfstream Park on Fountain of Youth Day

Hello,

I will be in Florida the first week of March and was considering attending the Fountain of Youth at Gulfstream. I have been to the NYRA tracks for big races. Is the experience at Gulfstream anything like this? It appears that they do NOT sell tickets for this card and that parking and attendance is free. Any tips I should know about?

If any regulars have general Gulfstream advice, I'd appreciate it. I always do terrible betting at Gulfstream but think it will be fun to visit.

I've been to Gulfstream a few times while vacationing in Florida. Best advice I can give is to leave early and arrive 45 minutes to an hour before first post. Or plan to arrive after the third or fourth race. Helps to avoid traffic issues. G.L.

When you say they're not selling tickets, do you just mean for admission? I was at Gulfstream the other day on a sleepy weekday & if you wanted any seat outside on the 2nd floor you had to purchase a ticket to sit there.
