update; no longer 'severe' , broke a 103 fever on the latest ER trip.
near hallucinating 'breaking of fever' experience and some strong antibiotics.
happens to fight bronchitis as well as uti and kidney infections i have.
day 7 now, skinny but can take the dog out and stand now.
In a perfect situation I'd be in-patient for a few days and run all the tests (even spinal issue) due under observation. See the needed people etc....
Had to cancel follow up. Car in shop. No transportation. They appointment was listed as for 'UTI' which is a chronic issue, but it's for the bronchitis mucus coughing. The nurse argued with me. I said 'Thank You'. staying positive.
Hopkins is great, but they are so 'organized' now and my condition often isn't a thing in the system. My primary care Doc is not getting it moving, and even the nice Marfan person says '8 month wait' for a new primary appt........
Working on having some more oversight/help from team Marfan.
