Myself betting someone other pari mutuel would be for a pizza or a case of beer or something like that, that is just me. If he suggested such a bet to me I would have counter suggested a bet that if he outlives Biden something etc.. I know that is easy for me to say at this point in time, but I am like that in so far it would have to be much more interesting for me to not tell him FO right away.

Hcap, not being the sharpest tool in the shed let his mouth outrun his brain, pissed off the boss and, therefore, couldn't outlive January 20th on this forum, which was pay up date. For all I know he could be worm food by now.

Could this be proof that not all people are "evil"?

Update: We have enjoyed rehabbing this Australian Shepherd so much, we are keeping her..........her name is obviously “Aussie”

We were able to also lure in one of our newest feral cats just before the storm hit. Our other 3 ferals survived but they did not use our heated cat houses. Not sure where they went. But they were eating at our feeding station during the storm. Looks like the one we lured in, she is going to stay ........Callie is her name.......

Wife and I taking in Mom for rehabilitation (she's been treated horribly by someone) very timid and gun shy. But she's doing pretty well actually for the first 1.5 days. I am watching her on a baby monitor at my desk while I work.

We have had a couple of blind dogs in our rescue. Small dogs. They seem to adapt pretty well all things considered.

You and Mrs. Ralph are a credit to the human race. That you would take time from your business in these uncertain times is admirable. Keep up the good work!

This thread proves that not all people are as evil as they could be, which aligns perfectly with the biblical doctrine of Total Depravity.

P.S. Think of the difference between qualitative and quantitative.

Sometimes it’s a juggling act......but we consider it paying forward. No greater joy than that we receive from saving a dog or a cat.

"Scooter Hightower of Middle Tennessee said that it had been his mom’s last wish to attend his wedding in Arrington, and he wanted to do something really special for her...

“I was wanting to do something really special for her because one of the things is when she was diagnosed with ALS, she was waiting for two things in her life to happen, before she wanted to go to the other side so to speak,” Hightower said.

“She was waiting for her granddaughter to be born, my niece, and she is going on six months now, seven months, and then she was waiting for our wedding. She wanted to be at our wedding.”
Quote:
Sadly, Hightower’s mom passed away toward the end of last month. Her memory will live on. She was a paramedic for about three decades in Middle Tennessee, and 15 ambulances escorted her to the church. There was even a flyover from the MedEvac.

“She changed so many lives,” Hightower told Fox 17. “It’s incredible. I can’t even begin to scratch the surface on how many people she impacted in her life because she was impacting millions of people before I was even thought of.”
