Babylon Bee Recognizes Bud Light Destroyer as MAN of the Year
From the Babylon Bee... :-)
"It is time once again to honor one man who has gone above and beyond to advance the cause of men and raise the bar for what other men seek to accomplish.
The Babylon Bee has chosen Dylan Mulvaney to receive the 2023 Man of the Year award.
Already a proven force to be reckoned with on the Chinese spy app TikTok, Mulvaney has gone on to make his mark as a celebrity spokesman powerful enough to utterly destroy the reputations of big-name consumer brands. None of them were more notable than Bud Light, the one-time top-selling beer, which hired Mulvaney as its pitchman last spring only to suffer the most precipitous financial freefall in the history of the beer industry. Once thought to be an invincible brand in the beverage world, Bud Light was brought to its knees by the man — the legend — that is Dylan Mulvaney."

The man did everyone a favor.
Bud Light was always undrinkable anyway.
You can add dozens more to that list - all US favorites

My favorite light beer was Nordic Wolf Light that is no longer made, I last ran across some in San Clemente Ca, at a Trader Joe's in the early 90's. I first tried it because the bottle looked cool.
P.S. What is Horsey doing misgendering Dylan? Dylan wants that to be a criminal offense.

We agree. Hilarious that But Lite was supposedly the #1 beer until the transvestite started promoting it. Now suddenly it’s crap and no one will drink it.
Same horrible beer yet somehow different.

I have seen Nordic Wolf in NH supermarkets, what I used to like was "Little Kings Beer" from Ohio.

Light beer is like low fat milk, non-dairy, healthy, blah blah blah.
It ain’t worth a f****. Drink a good beer, you deserve it. Just drink less of it.

Can't argue with that.
So many things come down to marketing.
Look at close to every product out there, including beer.
In the US, you can add NASCAR, NFL, and pickup trucks, to the equation.
Other nations have their own marketing success stories.
It all comes down to how the message is delivered.

yup... light beer doesn't seem far removed from watered-down regular beer.
I am close to the 'complete-ignorance' end of the beer knowledge spectrum.
When I drink Budweiser, it is to get a buzz. I don't like the taste, but most beer tastes OK after you've had a couple.
Do kind of enjoy the Guiness Stout cans that (I think use nitrogen ? ) are marketed as draught-like when poured into a glass. They have the almost bitter 'stout' style, and then are slightly creamy.
I assume that if I had the money and the insight, that there are creamy stouts with actual high quality and great taste.
Ever since the bud light Fiasco, it seems like Budweiser cases and cans and marketing is like a super patriotic and masculine camo-can tribute to the troops and veterans of real American heroes dog tags PTSD-charity

You should be boycotting Bud Lite just for that stunt...LMAO
But nah...you're still defending them...
