No April Fool's Joke
My wife and I have learned that our son and his wife in Boston are expecting a baby (who would be our first grandchild), with a projected due date of 1 April. (No word on gender yet.) The news came as somewhat of a surprise to me. Since they're both attorneys, I had wondered whether they'd be able to fit parenthood into the mix. (Looks like we'll be adding an East Coast trip to our travel plans for next year!)

REALLY No April Fool's Joke!
My son and his wife have now learned that they're expecting a girl. (I've suggested the name Rachel Alexandra, but I'm not sure they'll go for that.)
However, due to an earlier calculation error on my part (you'd think that a horseplayer would be able to count to nine!), the baby's projected due date is 1 May rather than 1 April. (If she's three days late, she'll be born on Derby Day!)

Congrats and Rachel Alexandra would probably be more appropriate name than Winning Colors.

My granddaughter (Lydia Margaret) was born on 13 April 2019! (She came about 2-3 weeks earlier than expected while my wife and I were traveling in Athens, Greece (appropriately enough, I guess, since her given names are both of Greek origin -- Lydia being the name of the first Christian convert in Europe (Acts 16:13-15), as well as an ancient kingdom of western Asia Minor that was home to King Croesus, who was noted for his wealth); and Margaret from the Greek word meaning meaning "pearl"). Mother and daughter are both home and doing well.
