City crime issues are not a federal responsibility. It is a local city, county and state issue. She doesn't even understand how federalism works. Except, of course, when the FEDS enforce absurd mandates on local police departments.

For the most part crime and how it is policed is on the mayor of a city as the police chief and or commissioner serves at the discretion of the mayor. That is cut and dry, how criminals are punished falls under the district attorney that is an elected official. Democrat Mayor and DA combo equals high crime rates, that is a given.
