This was quite predictable, not these specific incidents, but that people would need to begin to fight back against the criminals. When I saw the video last year of the older woman trying to stop a 30 something white male from shoplifting a whole cart full of groceries and other stuff I knew the backlash had begun. Let's hope this trend continues and not too many innocent people are murdered or injured.


And the howls from that criminal with the AR-15 who was shot by the elderly store manager was priceless. The store manager was ready for a fight and the criminal lost.

That was the weapon of choice growing up. Stood ready next to the front door. Growing up you knew better than to even look at it.

How wide is the pattern at the distance the owner shot the robber? I have only shot the BB sized and deer slugs and that was some time ago.

Want to prove you are tough? Rest the butt of a loaded double barrel 12 gauge shotgun against your jaw and pull the trigger. That wasn't the stupidest thing I did as a young adult, but close. Lucky I had Tex Cobb's jaw at the time, I did need a standing 8 count.

I was allowed to fire a real gun at the age of 7. Taught all the gun safety, my dad left all his guns unlocked and I knew were they were. I was mature for my age and unless a stranger came in the house I was not to touch one without my dad being around. If I did I would probably not lived to tell about it. If My dad had raised Alec Baldwin, Halyna Hutchins would still be alive. He was always trying to catch me not handling a gun I was just handed properly and checking to see if it was loaded. A simple lesson that could have saved so many lives. You never trust what someone tells you about a gun, period.
