Does anyone really think he needs to cash a ticket in Louisville?
What's the reason for a crooked ride there?

If I knew up front...would be retired by now... ....sure it has to do with Client relationships....although would NEVER be admitted ...
Besides...wasn't commenting about JUST this one race...although...truth be told...better if he has 3 in the race upcoming than 2...for him...right...

Back to tosses. I'm tossing from the WIN spot any horses with more than 3 starts from layoff. I don't like 4 starts and since 2003, other than smarty jones, just seems like 4 starts doesn't "work" anymore:
So toss from the win:
Maximum Security
Long Range Toddy (is vastly over-raced to begin with anyway)
By My Standards
Gray Magician
Masterfencer

So by your 3 race limit would you not have to omit Country House and Omaha Beach?

Oh, thanks for pointing out that I missed 2.
Yes, from the WIN position, yes.
I wasn't going to play Omaha Beach in the win position anyway, though I will be rooting for him and his connections for the sentimental win, as it would make my heart happy, for sure.

I'm playing superfecta and super high five and will not be tossing the dubai racers from my ticket.

no, it actually won't be, because I play expensive tickets pretty much straight, and/or 2 horses in a few of those slot. Going deep to me at least, isn't about filling up every spot with the entire kitchen sink.
I have won many exotics just doing pretty much straight, maybe doing more than 1 ticket and just moving them around a tad. I don't spend $800+ on a superfecta ticket because I'm not willing to lose that much.
I don't believe in kitchen sink betting any more than I believe in bloated code in many of the computer apps and operating sytems these days. It is not that hard to come up with, in old fashioned terms, an *elegant* ticket (or elegantly coded software program) where you try to cover possibilities that seem most probable to you. Yes, harder in the derby w/20 horses, but can be done. Ddidn't gal win $18 million on such a ticket for some race, forgot which one?
I almost hit a large p-6 at gulfstream that had 2 big longshots in it.....got those, but missed the 6th horse who seemed very likely ..... again, I don't spend $800 on one ticket as I"m a recreational player and do this for fun and to attend live meets.

Using Gray Magician in 4th or 5th on a slimmed down ticket isn't expensive nor is his hitting there completely out of the question, as far as I can see looking at him. There are much worse horses in the race. You just wait and see.

I bet picks in doing basically the same thing. I’ve made my biggest scores doing this. I’ll use the Steven Christ lettered horses method but I also use the all button vs really big under lays. My biggest ones doing this were when Smarty lost the Belmont, Big Brown losing the Belmont and Rachel losing the Personal Ensign. Horses I could of never played myself. I never judge people that incorporate bombs in their plays. Someone said it’s fun to have long shots..... no, that’s how you make money playing this game. Gotta be wiling to tear some up. That’s why I get get in trouble on these forums and forget Facebook. When people tout Bob Baffert or Chad Brown, Pletcher constantly. It’s crap I already know, not giving me a thing. I gotta play against those or figure out the “ other” horse that’s not the obvious chalk. I saw one persons “ toss list” and I’m definitely using two of them because of the price they will be.

Agree that's the way to go I might not win as many races this way but will win more cash and that's what you want big picture not just one race or how big a race.
