Question Handifast Class Designations

I really enjoy using Handifast. It's my favourite piece of handicapping software.

But I sometimes wonder how Handifast determines different class ratings.

Class
Performance Class
Class/Consistency

I'd appreciate it if anyone can give me more details on the info used to calculate these three different class ratings.

Thanks in advance.

Wow, thank you very much for all the great information contained in the Handifast Documentation!

It will take me a while to digest all of the stimulating handicapping info/ideas. I'm sure that I will enjoy Handifast even more now that I understand more about it

Congratulations to everyone who helped develop Handifast! Outstanding work!!

And I will put up some races at some point in the future. But much ruminating and testing must be done before my analysts are ready to rock! I love improving my handicapping analysis!

Thanks again!!

No profit but 40% winners

2/5 = 40% winners but low prices so -10% R.O.I. Oh well.

I usually don't bet sloppy tracks but yesterday was an exception.

Plus I usually do alright at Thistledown but my Handifast analysts usually do best at Woodbine and Golden Gate.

Onward and upward.

TDN Results

Soon after posting my picks for Thistledown yesterday I had regrets about the exacta picks. I haven't yet evolved my Handifast analysts enough to be making exotic bets effectively.

None of my 3 exacta picks hit but that's not too surprising and serves to remind me to learn to walk before learning to run.

Regarding win bets at Thistledown yesterday, I went 2/4 with payoffs of a meager 3.10 and 4.10. So 50% winners @ -11% R.O.I.

Onward and upward.

Its a learning process.......

I always believe to test many tracks , you never know where it might just click...
I got a friend that does EMD...you do TDN......

you both got me scratching my head.....
If ya wanna do cheaper tracks...then try MNR or PEN...at least they have long meets

Handifast has to have specific folders set up to work properly. Do you have the temphandi folder on your C: drive? Somewhere in this thread are instructions on how to create the proper folders needed.
