You mean like this from Politico :

Quote:
Former White House Senior Adviser David Axelrod said on Sunday it was a mistake for President Barack Obama to say that his policies are on the ballot this fall.

Appearing on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Axelrod said that if he were still an Obama adviser he would not have included the line in the president’s speech last week in which Obama said: “I’m not on the ballot this fall ... but make no mistake, these policies are on the ballot — every single one of them.”

“It was a mistake,” Axelrod said.
Or this from Joe Trippi

Quote:
MEGYN KELLY: David Axelrod comes out and says that was a mistake. Was it and how big of one?

JOE TRIPPI, DEMOCRATIC STRATEGIST: I agree with him. Big mistake. I mean -- the president is a drag on Democrats. It's the case. He can't run away from it. Democrats are trying to localize these elections, make it between them and their opponent, not between them and Obama and their opponent. And this just walked in a gift to the Republicans. It really was.

You know that line made more than a few Democrats cringe.

The Clinton camp believes that a mid-term defeat would help Hillary's chances in 2016. I understand the philosophy behind this strategy and believe it a huge gamble. I guess their thinking is based on the unlikelihood of the same party succeeding itself in three consecutive elections... A feat rarely accomplished. But given the republican party's, of late, tendency to shoot itself in the foot, I believe it could work.

Bill is on the campaign trail, and he is doing his best to distance the candidates he is helping from Obama, and specifically Obama's claim that his policies are on the ballot.

I see no evidence that Hillary is doing anything similar. No matter what they think would help her, she needs to be seen as a team player.

She knows that. In politics, perception is reality.

I spoke too soon. Hillary made her first big 2014 campaign speech for the Democratic candidate for governor in PA yesterday, and apparently is ramping up for more over the next month.

She's back.

Grimes didn't want to say it, because it would be in an ad that would be running for the next month

Hillary even implied that she was a native Pennsylvanian, Clocker, if you could believe that.

I gotta give her one piece of credit -- she does have a bigger pair of onions than Obama, that's for sure.

Check with Harry Reid, she probably speaks with a negro dialect, when she needs one.

Elizabeth Warren: Obama's economic team chose Wall Street over 'families'
"He picked his economic team and when the going got tough, his economic team picked Wall Street. ...They protected Wall Street. Not families who were losing their homes. Not people who lost their jobs. Not young people who were struggling to get an education. And it happened over and over and over."
