Luckily I had the winner but live I thought the inside won. Then on the slow mo near the line I thought the inside won. Looking at the Photo I believe it was a dead heat. Anyone else think it's a heater?

Check the chart. How can that possibly be correct? The photo shows the first 4 finishers within whiskers of each other. the chart reads nose, neck, and 1 3/4.
The sixth place horse appears to be only 1/2 length behind the winner.

That is three horses on the line and a mirror image.

Blow up the pic, it's clearly NOT a dead heat. Close, but not.

Clearly, there is grey between the nose and wire on the inside horse.
The is fully on the line.

The "running line preview" section (below the payoffs) of the chart displays these margins:
4 by a nose over the 1
1 by a nose over the 8
The reason you see the margin of neck for #1 in the top portion of the chart is that two noses equal a neck. #4 won by a nose over #1 and #1 was a nose in front of the #8 so the margin #8 was behind the winner as a neck.
I hope that helps.

It is the top three and the mirror image of the same three.
