8th@Mountaineer, 9:30PMet

8th @Mountaineer: 6F F&M Clm7500(7.5-6.5) ~ purse $10,400 ~ 8/9/16
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fillies & Mares, 3YO+UP.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EARLY LOOK: Lone Class dropper hasn't won in 14 months.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Fur Lined (9/2 ML)- Said dropper, 10YO gets rider upgrade
and catches a soft bunch for $7,500 level going Turf-2-Dirt.
2) Pink Rubans (3/1 ML)- 5YO goes Tapeta-2-Dirt,won 7/14 here.
1) Amina Perfect (5/2 ML,POE)- Nothing in two starts at this
level since claim. 6YO Gets great pace setup on paper.
1A) Lucky Invite (5/2 ML,POE)- 3YO steps up off claim looking
for fourth win in a row. N4L to open $,7500 BIG jump.
4) Rosebud's Tiger (7/2 ML)- Another 3YO stepping up off N4L
win & has top connections. Tough pace scenario if field stays intact.
5) Still Shea to Me (5/2 ML)- 7YO returns & adds 400 yards &
picks up Parker. Outside speed has shown stalking gear in past.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE BOTTOM LINE: Two deep for Me, #1 & #6, speed & closer.
GOOD LUCK to ALL, & See You at Night School!

9th@Mountaineer 9:55PMet

9th @Mountaineer: [S] MdSpWt 14k ~ purse $14,100 ~ 8/9/16
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
West Virginia Bred Maidens, 3YO+Up
(preference to horses that have not started for less than $15,000)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EARLY LOOK: UGH. Eight betting interests, only 3 look toss-able.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2) Shedrow (12/1 ML)- Pvt.Purchase,4YO steps back up to MSW.
3) O.T. Zensation (3/1 ML)- 5YO goes Tapeta-2-Dirt & back to
WV-Breds. Zen ran well w/bias here May 25th,& may be Inside speed.
4) Tre's Gold (10/1 ML)- Turf-2-Dirt & Barbaran sticks. No thanks.
5) Brilliant Dunce (9/5 ML Fave)-With Parker+Baird going T-2-D,
expect even-money off odds. The one to beat, but IMO no lock.
1) Najmah's Train (8/1 ML,POE)- 3YO was 23/1 in local debut
while showing nothing. 7lb. bug takes reins, expect "Send" from gate.
6) Really Mistya (4/1 ML)- 4YO was 3/2 vs.ML Fave here June 22,
faded late while 4-wide. 0/16 trainer now calls on 2/149 jock.
7) Zoiee's Dream (12/1 ML)- 3YO was 7/1 vs. OPEN MSW foes
in debut on anti-speed oval. Dam Sentimental was 14/49 dirt sprints.
8) Nomorestorms (8/1 ML)- 3YO goes T-2-D, was Vet Scratch
here July 25th. Dam Three Peaks other foal 3/4 in dirt sprints.
1A) Fairbankscity (8/1 ML,POE)- T-2-D, solid jock named, but
Dam City Term's offspring more successful going 2 turns.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE BOTTOM LINE: Many handicapper will just go with the flow
& single Parker in a brutal state-bred race, & they may win,
but only #'s 1-2-4 would really surprise me.
In Pick-4/5, i want THREE horses, 3-5-7.
GOOD LUCK to ALL, & See You at NIGHT SCHOOL!
