Larry Lederman at Meadowlands

Larry is calling the races at Monmouth at The Meadowlands today. Good to hear him again. I know he's curtailed his workload because of his brain tumor; doesn't fly; doesn't take long drives.

Keep up the good fight, Larry.

Larry is one of the best race callers on the planet. He's the only reason I've ever watched harness racing. Be well, LL. ☆

Loved his calls at Garden State with about 84 people

in attendance...'they are going at it head to head, nose to nose, everything not nailed down is being thrown into the air' meanwhile there were about 3 guys standing along the fence.

That and the random celebs he would announce being in the winners circle, 'making the presentation Harold Minor, Ralph Kiner and the Brothers Steiner'.

And of course giving a Mets score while they are hitting the 5/8ths at Freehold gets me every time.

Great announcer, love his sense of humor.

"in a tie for second the two dragons Dragon Ruffles and Dragon Princess...those two together" (in his best Battaglia voice).

Classic.
