Who do you think will win the Kentucky Derby?

Pretty simple and straightforward poll. Will be interesting to see how actual results compare.

Not really looking for any in depth analysis or follow-up explanation, unless you really, really want to...

One man, one vote. Who's it gonna be?

(Yes, I know the poll is set to close AFTER the Derby...gonna close it a little bit before the race)

I've got three I think have a big shot: Shackleford, Nehro and Dialed In.

I voted for Shackleford.

says I already voted..........? Maybe I hit the button twice

I like Midnight Interlude.......... and VE has been there before.

How in the hell you pick a winner from this group I don't know.

I just think he is coming off one hell of a race in the Santa Anita Derby and looks like he might even get a little better.........maybe the best finisher of the group.

Master of the Hounds picking up Gomez intrigues me. I think he is live.

Pants on Fire and Dialed In :

Who the hell knows what comes of this race.

I think Comma to the top :6 fades like a dog in the last furlong.

I am going back to basics for these picks and Midnight Interlude seems like the one that might still improve some. So he inherits it for me.

will spread a little amongst this group and see what happens.

Good luck.

i originally liked DIALED IN. the horse has only worked once, so i pass on him. then i liked ARCH ARCH ARCH, but he drew awful, still might be good though. i have to like NEHRU because STEVE ASSMUSSEN'S father is leaving LOREDO to go to LOUISVILLE. only problem with that guy is he didn't train well at churchill, but he never trains good anywhere, he just runs good in the afternoon. so i went to another horse MACHO MUCHO MAN, because he is based at calder and everything leaving calder has been winning lately. i don't know how that one has been training though, so i still might switch off him.

Santiva.

By the way I just found another reason to bet him. He's the only entrant listed in italics in the poll.

Hmmmmmmmmmm

archarcharch was my vote. I'll put money on whichever horse has the least amount of votes too...that seems to be a lock everytime!!

I like Midnight Interlude. He has tactical speed, but doesn't need to be the early leader to have a chance (which'll help him a ton against horses who DO need the lead and will waste themselves trying to get it). The two works at CD look good, Baffert can win big races, and he might even be a bit of a price.

Voted for Mo, in spite of the drama. Feels odd to take a contrarian view of what was once a mortal lock by picking him to win.
