I was in a middle school in our district recently. In the main lobby, there is a rather large display hanging on the wall, all about Ramadan. Easter? Nothing anywhere.

I feel so sorry for any family that does not have the means to home school or put their kids in private school. I have a customer who like me works from a small machine shop on his property. His wife has an executive position but gets to work from home a couple days a week average. So she does 40% of the home schooling he does 60%. I think the kids are 8 & 10. We probably talk on the phone a couple times a week. He is a Republican as is every customer I have ever had seem to be. His kids do play with other kids on the block from public school, he says the crap they report back on that goes on in school is mind boggling.

What is the purpose of that question? Are you implying I am lying or that I refuse to do business with people who have outward Democrat views? The answer is neither. It just so happens most of my customers are in management or own businesses manufacturing products out of metal. Most of those have run across evolving regulations that have impacted how they do business, therefore most tend to be Republicans. On the other hand if I sold educational materials to school districts most of my customers would likely be Democrats.


If you go to any internet forum that is full of USA manufacturing white collar types it leans almost as right as this site does. Like this site most of the lefties are obnoxious and hurl a bunch of insults while never posting useful content. A lot of the obnoxious lefties in those sites are union workers, a good many UAW members.

What am I missing here? A strong lightning bolt can destroy just about anything. Striking another high energy electrical power source couldn't look very pretty.

Those charging stations are fused in multiple places, no chance a lighting strike would energize the car with an over current situation, the charging station would just go dead. They are quick blow fuses that over amperage or voltage will destroy. There is also protection against them back feeding the grid.
