MLB Postseason Schedule
Wild Card Games:
Tuesday - 8:00 PM EST Oakland @ KC - Lester 14-11 vs. Shields 16-8 TBS
Wednesday - 8:00 PM EST Giants @ Pirates - Baumgarner 18-10 vs. Volquez 13-7 TBS
My picks: KC and SF to win
We could get a bragging rights pool going- simple rules- most correct winners is the PA 2014 MLB Postseason selections champion.
Beyond tomorrows NLWC game, start times and pitching match ups are to be determined, as they become available, I will post same.

MLB Postseason Schedule
Not a fan of their team (actually a Mets fan), but I think this could be the year that the Nats get it done. They seem to have the best balanced team, and certainly have the best starting pitching staff. Maybe I'm biased because they pissed on the Mets real bad this season.
Love the A's/Royals matchup tonight. The old KC team vs. the new KC team. I remember when the A's played in that ramshackle old ball park in downtown KC, and they were owned by Charlie O.
Going with the Royals and the Bucs.

It is now 10:37 PM EST and on the MLB.com network the scheculed start time for Thursdays games are still listed as TBD. If this is not about TV I will kiss, never mind.

All these stupid sacrifice bunts by the Royals. I wish I would have picked the A's. You can't give away outs. Ever.

Check that. now the A's did it. I'm a man without a country. At this rate this game will go about 40 innings.

Thank you, Billy Bean. Except sometimes you can build a game-tying run with a bunt, a SB, and a Sac Fly. The Moneyball guy is still lookin' to win that last game of the season, while the Royals move on.

Stealing bases and being aggressive is good. Even the Billy Butler play with two strikes on the hitter was fine with me. Sacrifice bunting though? No way, it's like punting on third down. I'm sure I'm in the minority. That's fine.

When you have the fastest guys on the planet on base, you should probably just have them steal and not waste the out.
