All it is, is any horse with the top Bris Prime Power--alongside the top trainer/jockey combo.

6th RACE STRIKING SPEED 8-1.

That 8-1 ML may be realistic, since 'SPEED has run dead last 3 in a row. Today he drops way down, Carmouche stays, he's well-rested and showing much improvement. I think today is the day for this one

*One other tidbit...the 2nd hi Bris Prime horse was scratched, leaving STRIKING SPEED with an 8 point gap to #2.

A quick check of the odds showed STRIKING SPEED was a ridiculous 6/5...I barely got it canceled in time. Whoever hammered that horse got burned, as he ran 2nd

Didn't see the race-but a few minutes to post, GUMP was 15-1. Chart says he went off appx 5-1.

This pretty much sums it up:

"GUMP stumbled at the start and was last away, and never factored"

Give Gump another race.

The best (read most profitable) angles are the "specialized" categories. Whereas some are sort of generic, like "DIRT" or "ROUTES" ...The best are "2ND AFTER LAYOFF" or "1ST AFTER CLAIM" etc. Something specific is what you want to look for--in addition to odds.
