I know plenty that picked the Rangers, but not the Reds.

Wow...meaningful games in September. I have forgotten what it's like to experience a pennant race to the finish.

Of all the material I saw before the start of the season both on line and in the Philly marketplace very few (but some) picked the Rangers. Even less picked the Reds, think I saw one or two. However no one that I saw picked the Padres. Bud Black a lock for manager of the year. The Pods upper mangement staff should get lots's of credit for bringing in key relief pitchers also. Quite a turnaround from last years 75 wins.

The Reds had 5 Texans in their starting lineup the other nite (Bailey, Janish, Stubbs, Bruce, Nix) vs the Dodgers, then ran in Arthur Rhodes in relief (from the Waco area I believe). Besides being fun to watch, it's like watching a 3rd Tx team on the diamond.

Love watching this team. May or may not be a one year wonder, but very fun to watch

And the Cuban Missile was impressive in his debut last night. Much going on in Redsland to get excited about, for sure.

Chapman hit 105mph in the minors and 103mph a couple of times last night...whoa....that's Sidd Finch type velocity.

I'm somewhat surprised at the low attendance for a team playing so well with a 7 game lead . Seldom more than 20,000 in attendance .

Not so sure . I see other parks where 35,000+ is common with a team that isn't even in contention . Red's fan were a abundent at one time , where did they go ?

Do a google search on how the taxpayers got screwed building a football and baseball stadium and you will get a partial answer

103 MPH clocking PLUS Dusty Baker as manager = future Tommy John surgery.

Brings back memories of Wood, Prior and Edinson Volquez.
