I've got to say that I love the way some people are stepping up to do good things.
One friend of mine who lost his job as a software developer, is driving for Uber Eats. He posted that if anyone needed things to call him because he had to be at risk anyway.
Clearly he was not just looking for business. He made mention of groceries, prescriptions, etc.
That's pretty awesome. Especially where there is no money making involved.

I'm sure the Chinese government would like everybody to think that.
The Chinese government would be more than ok with the most frail 3% of their population going away if it meant damaging the United States. As bad as our government can be at times, I honestly don't think it is capable of doing that to its own people.

Someone who would be able to sustain a quality of life and medical care (or even immunity) for themselves, and benefit from a global population cull. Or maybe this weird multi-faceted virus was really just a natural virus from a bat or armadillo(pengadillo i don't know chinese armadillo's names)
However, it does us no good to think like that. I'm not writing a sci-fi book... I'm not running a conspiracy blog, or selling 'prep' supplies, or even trying to get myself anxious about conspiracies and ideas that I have no influence over.
I'm focused on the next couple months.
Thread related - Told not to visit my uncle and aunt for our regular visit / car-tune-up. As of now, no family.

Local restaurant owner in Rochester had a ton of macaroni salad that was going to spoil, and without customers dining in, no need for his stock of toilet paper, so........he set up a table on the sidewalk and gave away free containers of mac salad and 1 roll of toilet paper to anyone coming by.
Smart idea, but of not flattering to his mac salad!

per Alex Azar, the coronavirus was a declared a public health emergency of international concern.
foreign nations who have traveled in china in the last 14 days will be denied entry to the US at this time.

a top federal official warned Americans on feb 25 that coronavirus would spread in the United States.
