I do it for free and do not get any perks. While I do spend a lot of time on the PaceAdvantage website, I have a lot of other things going on in my life as well.

TC,
You're doing a helluva job keeping track of this contest.
Heck, I could barely tally up the scores of 15, or so, golfers recently on here.
I don't know how you manage with this, but I greatly appreciate it.

My take....
h4c waits for FunkyMonkey to make a play. Both seasoned contest players.
Relative newcomers, turffan and 122425, could be the sleepers who force things. wiffleball "the wild man" whizz seems uncharacteristially quite but maybe the gambler in him steps up to play (see Trotter's final days in the ASD Challenge).
Veteran players like tiger rose, Light and goatchaser will keep on swinging until we're done.
The slumping cj is still not out of it. I would look for some key final weekend plays.
The "strategist" -- Track Collector could come out of the clouds as his low number of plays works in his favor with a big hit or two.
Basically, it'll come down to the final day!

Hahahahahahahahahaha......classic post
Trust me I'm pondering a power play here.....I really can't make up any ground here.......but 2nd place gotta make a move.....if it turns into a pissing match maybe I can sneak through the backdoor but this is where my inexperience comes into play but this is far from over I mean is second place just gonna hand it to horses4 courses?!?? Is he gonna be like birdstone and make smarty jones "earn it today"?
Also curious as to why proximity, thaskalos manU and even PA himself aren't in this?!?! Is the owner of this site barred because he has a hit rate of 99.7 percent? Maybe PA is thinking "maybe I'll let the little people have some fun"...
I've heard stories in various racebooks in the USA that PA himself has walked into various handicapping contests with $1000 entry fees that the other players offered him first place money just to save time.....they figured once PA parked the car and walked into the contest everybody was playing for 2nd place money and figured to save 4 hours........100 percent fact!!

Mr. Whizz,
You seem resigned to not winning this contest, which surprises me greatly based on your obvious "gambler" nature.
The way I see it, if you make just one "winning" play you move to the top. I did some calculating and this is what I came up with:
You need 1 play returning $21.00 + $5.00 Bonus for the Win = $26.00
This would move you up to a Hybrid ROI of 1.701 and the lead
I believe one winning 6-1 shot does the job.
These are just my calculations -- I'm not 100% I have it right but I think so. Go get 'em!

Before I post this I just want to say what blast this contest was and Definitly provided action for me when I wasn't at the track and it's also awesome that 2 casino employees (me and horses4courses) may run 1-2 in this...BUT
I'm here to win this thing just a few questions....on wendsday can there be sometimg done to prevent in the last race me hitting a $22.40 piece in the nightcap only to see that H4C "checkered on checkerd me as they were loading and I go back and see he snuck the play in ahead of me......valid question
As the leader he has EVERY rite to do this but it would suck if I watched the race and hit it only to see at the last second he copied my play....again the as the leader the ball is in his court...
I got work till 6 weds so these last 3 races wendsday is what it's all about!!

Post at the last second? You have to post 1 minute before the official off time, he has to follow the same rules. The rest of us will be betting 80-1 shots in the last race.

I can assure you, wizz, that I would never stoop so low as to copy your play, or anyone else's,
for the sake of a couple hundred bucks.
Sure, I'd love to win this but, if I don't, that's just how it goes.
I will be travelling on Wednesday myself, and won't have much time for horses,
but I should be free late in the day if I need to make a play.
Good luck to all, and it's been a blast - win or lose
Special thanks to TC for working so hard on this, and to the generous sponsors.

Again as the leader you have EVERY rite to copy anybody's play that is part of the contest and strategy here......you played this contest to perfection posting a score and saying catch me if you can!!!!!
Again to TC and all other sponsors who put this contest on it was action at its best......again it was be awesome coming in 2nd behind H4C as he is in the same industry as I am!!!
Also as a side note ill lay anybody 7/5 on a heads up "fairplex" challenge with the same rules with 20 plays....I believe I mastered the strategy in this contest!!!........7/5 gentleman come and get it

WOW what a contest finish this is going to be.
If it was not for a severe lightening storm over top of my residence last night, I would have been on line watching and waiting to "pull the trigger " at Del Mar.
Put alias, I had to shut down for protection of the ole computer hard drive.
Not red boarding here... but I was leaning towards My Gi Gi in the 9th race and / or possibly Artic North in the 11th.
Like I mentioned , I turned off and unplugged the machine, my only source to watch the odds/races and to post.... guess I should of just posted both picks early and took my chances.
My Gi Gi took a beating in her race ... lucky not to get injured from the replay I watched. finished third ...$5.20
Artic North won the 11th race and paid ... $16.60... $7.80...5.60
Think that would of bolted me into the thick of things.
Oh well..
Good Luck to everyone on Wednesday 9/4/2013
Thanks TC for keeping the books in this Contest and Thanks to all the Great Sponsors.
It has been A BLAST !
