The new liberal/socialist message

Every few years, the libs pass out a new label for why they lose an election. Their ideas never failed. It is always the failure and frailty of voters that is the problem. So here we are with a new theme from our lefty boys and girls.

We first had the scourge of income inequality argument to explain why people resisted wealth redistribution. Then we had racism and bigotry as they reason why people wouldn't accept gays or third bathrooms, and why blacks doing misdeeds were being shot by white cops.

Now we have a new theme being promoted since brexit. Intergenerational theft!!! Older generations should not be allowed to decide the fate of the younger generations dammit.

https://www.theguardian.com/environm...climate-change

Exerpt:

Youth will bear the brunt of the poor decisions being made by today’s older generations. The problem is of course that younger generations will have to live with the consequences of the decisions we make today for much longer than older generations. Older generations in developed countries prospered as a result of the burning of fossil fuels for seemingly cheap energy.

... and if that isn't enough, they have another label if this one doesn't work. We will be branded anti-intellectuals (i.e., mouth breathers) for not supporting wealth redistribution, climate change regulations, and hyper-progressive social programs

Well isn't that the paradigm for the progression movement, to be always changing because each new generation is so much smarter than the previous generation. In a few decades we will be hearing about rights for pedophiles.

I laugh at all their "labels". What the younger generation (not all, but many) don't seem to get is that the older generation has lived and experienced more of the real world than they have. Once they begin to acknowledge "experience inequality", they will be able to better cope with "knowledge inequality", "morality inequality", "work ethic inequality" and all the other inequalities they suffer from. This is why they need to start admitting that we can't all be doctors, lawyers and engineers. So many of them graduate with useless degrees and high student loan debt. College is not a right of passage, it's an INVESTMENT. If your ROI is meager because no one is hiring employees with useless degrees, you end up losing and whining. Their parents share much of the blame for this because their ideologies belong in la-la land. The real world is much different.

Poor decisions like building the wealthiest societies in the history of the world, where the youth of advanced countries live better lives than monarchs of the past?

Hey kid, you didn't build that.

People should never forget that it was the Progressives who brought us Eugenics. Sterilizing Blacks, Jews, Italians and the disabled was a staple of the American culture for almost 100 years until the Nuremberg Trials when the Nazis claimed that the American Eugenics program was their model for what later became known as -- the holocaust.

Oh those Progressives are wonderful people.

The Nazis had great respect and admiration for our progressives.
That should tell you all you need to know about progressives.

The people shouldn't be allowed a vote on important things. That's best done by the intellectual aristocracy. If you don't know whether you are in that group or not, then you're not.

Heck...if that's the voting criteria, I should be allowed multiple votes many times over.

The take away here is that younger voters are more susceptible to propaganda.

Lowering the voting age to 18 seemed like a good idea when the libs were the minority back in the 1960s. I woudn't be surprised to see the concept of intergenerational theft give rise to the proposal for an upper age limit when one can no longer vote....

Uh, already hearing about it, riding that giant wave for gay marriage:

Part of this failure stems from the misconception that pedophilia is the same as child molestation. One can live with pedophilia and not act on it. Sites like Virtuous Pedophiles provide support for pedophiles who do not molest children and believe that sex with children is wrong. It is not that these individuals are “inactive” or “nonpracticing” pedophiles, but rather that pedophilia is a status and not an act. In fact, research shows, about half of all child molesters are not sexually attracted to their victims.
