I'm well aware of what's coming Trotter, but the drought is finally over, and the boys will bang out a round or two, and cj and i will be watching playoff hockey!
On the topic of dreamers.....

That worked out well for ya.
And as for your Jets, better luck next year Trotsky.

And I'd like us to stay out of the 8 seed..... Rangers' loss tonight helps that cause

The complete NY area disrespect for this team is comical. They have their game to clinch a playoff spot and they are on MSG+2 which isn't even a real channel, just used for overflow when too many games going on at once. I get the fact that the Knicks should be on the MSG flagship channel, but the Devils had MSG+ for a meaningless game. Then was reading the Times this morning and they had a big locally reported story on the Rangers and right next to it taking half the space (at least in the digital world) was an AP story on the Isles clinching a playoff spot. Moving to Barclays is a must to make these guys relevant again.

If everything is right in the world he'll take a puck or stick to the lower mandible in period 1 of round 1.

Jared Staal gets the call up to join the Carolina Hurricanes for his first NHL game tonight vs. the Rangers, joining brothers Eric and Jordan.

Not just NY but the whole league. Here is a team that was picked to finish dead last in the conference and six weeks ago looked to be heading south that now has a shot at the 5th seed. Only in the last couple of days have I seen articles etc about this rather incredible run. And Tavares getting more MVP talk (though still 3d/4th on most ballots I think).
What I dont get is how Capuano is not even mentioned in the Coach of the Year talk. They epect Quennville to get it. I understand the Hawks are having a great year, but they also had a core than won the Cup a couple of years ago. Not saying Q hasn't done a good job, but to me a great coach is a guy who gets his guys to over-produce. Cappy has done that for sure.
Ah well, at least we Islanders fans can enjoy the ride....even if no one else notices. And if we dont play Carolina anymore

That's one productive uterus, she's giving mother Sutter a run for her money.
