Communist Broadcasting System Emulates its Kissin' Cousin CNN
CBS splices gun in Adam Toledo’s hand out of police shooting video
Mainstream media is utter garbage. That's it. That's the message.
The entire purpose of a free press is to allow the truth to come out. In modern day America, mainstream media works against this notion and proactively works to subvert the truth with their reporting. In the case of CBS News coverage of the police shooting of 13-year-old Adam Toledo, the dishonesty on their part is striking.
They intentionally edited out the part of the video that shows a gun in Toledo’s hand just prior to being shot. We know it was intentional because the rest of the video edit kept Toledo in best view, but the split second in which the gun can be seen, they conveniently pulled the edit to the left to keep him hidden before panning back to show him getting shot.

This is the unedited video from the shooting officers body cam. It clearly shows Adam Toledo with his hands raised and facing the officer one to two seconds before he is shot. If he had a weapon, he definitely dropped it before turning around. Also, nothing in the video indicates he made any threatening moves during the brief chase.
WARNING: The video is unedited and very graphic.?
The site above has all the relevant videos, unedited.

That video is so shaky, it's impossible to tell if Toledo had a gun in his hand as he was in the process of raising them and then dropped it as he was raising them.
Clearly, from OTHER video presented, he had a gun at some point.
It's also impossible to tell if Toledo is REACHING for something and then decides to raise his hands...if that's the case...well...
The point being...this is why I would never want to be a cop.
You need to make this split second, life or death decision...
Do you give the suspect the benefit of the doubt and risk never seeing your family again? I mean I assume the report went out over the radio that this guy had a gun. Knowing this, what would you do in that moment?
Unfortunately, we are dealing with human beings, not perfect machines.
The courts will decide this officer's fate. Well, these days, not really. It will likely be the media machine and the dominant far-left that decides (and we all know what their verdict will be).
We live in interesting times.

It will be interesting to watch the stats on cops shot/killed by guns...because these days, the last thing a cop wants to do is shoot someone...especially someone non-white...even if totally justified.
So that should open them up more to being shot/killed themselves.

I always thought that the last thing a cop wants to do is shoot someone- period.

Have you been asleep under a rock somewhere? Evidently, you never received the memo Black Lives ( only) Matter. Better stick that in your hash pipe and puff on it.

At this point I'd rather soak my head in vat of Covid than be a cop.
You are risking your life every day in a society that has many cities or at least sections of cities plagued by violence.
You are held in lower regard than the criminals by a significant percentage of the population you are trying to protect.
If you make a split second mistake under extreme stress your life will be destroyed and is essentially over.
All that for a paycheck that won't even make you wealthy.
There are professional athletes that choke at the foul line at the end of basketball games but we expect cops to be perfect in life or death situations?
No rational person would defend irresponsible, incompetent, or racist behavior by cops, but the nature of policing is that the more violent an area, the more stressed the cops will be, the more confrontations there will be, and the more mistakes will be made. If people are really serious about fixing this problem they have to fix the cultural and economic problems that lead to crime. It's not all about race.

Certain people believe cops wake up every morning wanting to do NOTHING BUT.

A cop is more than 18x likely to be shot by a black man than an unarmed black man is to be shot by a cop.

Didn't the punk just fire two shots at a passing car?
THAT is the story here.

It would be so nice if you would learn how to read. There was an adult with Toledo. He fired the shots at a passing car. I’m unclear whether they were also in a car or standing on the street.
Also unclear why a 13 year old is out with an adult who is shooting at passing cars. What is the relationship between the two?
